Cardillo Piacentini Danilo, CEO of CO.ME.A., had the honour to be invited by our customer JDR Cable Systems to the “Groundbreaking” event for the construction of a new sea cable manufacturing facility in Cambois, Northumberland.
The £130m project will deliver vital subsea cable manufacturing technology to the offshore wind market . The investment is supported by His Majesty’s Government and the Secretary of State as part of the BEIS Offshore Wind Manufacturing Investment Support Scheme. CO.ME.A will take part of this important project as “key supplier” for the designing, manufacturing and installation of the degassing vessel. The participation to JDR’s Ceremony strengths the relationship with our customer and highlights CO.ME.A. ‘s commitment to providing the best possible innovative service and solution.
We are proud to start this new challenge playing a relevant role in the cable production and handling equipment.
